A member of the Active Schools+ team will come into school to work with a selected group of 10 children over the course of a morning and lunchtime to explore some simple games which they can then lead on a daily basis.
Details
Like many schools, you may have found that the pandemic has impacted on the quality and structure of your breaktime provision. Whether that be due to the restrictions that come with bubbles, staffing issues or perhaps the lack of opportunity to train sports leaders. This support session will explore games that will require little or no equipment and can be adapted to suit the needs of children across the primary age range.
Outcome
Children will become empowered to play together without relying on the leadership of adults. This session compliments the popular midday supervisor training and the mini sports leaders resource.
