Emotional Regulation sessions
This in‑school, interactive workshop supports pupils to develop emotional awareness and self‑regulation skills, helping them to engage positively in learning and maintain effective relationships within school. We can deliver these sessions in both primary and secondary schools.
The session is delivered to small groups of up to 12 pupils, with a school staff member present. Groups typically include peer leaders (e.g. MindMate Ambassadors, Wellbeing Buddies or Peer Mentors) alongside pupils who would benefit from targeted support.
The workshop lasts approximately 75 minutes and includes practical, evidence‑informed activities such as breathing techniques, mindfulness, co‑regulation strategies, gentle movement, and reflection.
Pupils learn simple, transferable tools to manage emotions and behaviour, improve focus, and build resilience, contributing to improved wellbeing and positive learning behaviours across school.
