We provide a number of training courses throughout the year suitable for all staff in school . The majority of our courses are available to any school and are delivered virtually or face to face in Leeds. We also have a number of eLearning modules available. All our training is bookable via LeedsforLearning.co.uk.

We are also able to provide some of our courses as whole staff training for your setting. Please e mail schoolwellbeing@leeds.gov.uk if you would like to discuss this option. 

Virtual: Bitesize information session for school staff: helping children and young people through transitions

Emily Jackson is a Senior Practitioner in the Educational Psychology Team at Leeds City council, and is delivering this no cost information session on how to support children and young people through transitions. 

The session will be based on the importance of certain psychological principles regarding safety and belonging and secure relationships. The session will also look at different approaches which can be used for children of different ages and stages of development.
