The Leeds Mind Suicide Bereavement Service is delivered by staff with lived experience and offers compassionate support for children, young people and families, bereaved or affected by suicide.

Details

Leeds Mind will share information on why postvention is important, the impact of suicide, and how best to support those affected, whilst also looking after yourself.

Content warning: although the topic is suicide, there will be no discussion of method and no graphic detail.

Outcome

You will leave this session understanding why postvention is important, the impact of suicide on children and young people, and how best to support children and young people affected by suicide.

There is no cost to any Leeds school/setting for this session.

Cancellation Fee
If you have booked a place and are unable to attend or need to cancel your place, please cancel via your Leeds for Learning account at least 48 hours in advance of the event so that we can release your place to delegates on the waiting list. The event is free but we reserve the right to impose a charge of £25 where delegates do not attend and have not informed us of their cancellation.
