Learn about Kooth and how to support diverse identities.

This session will give you an overview of how Kooth works as a mental health service as well as looking at the topics of supporting diverse communities.

This session will provide information on:

1. How Kooth works as a mental health service.
2. The importance of safeguarding.
3. How Kooth supports diverse identities.
4. How Kooth supports LGBTQIA+ communities.
5. How to overcome mental health stigma in Muslim communities.
6. How Kooth can support schools and colleges.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Outcome

You will have an understanding of Kooth, what they can offer to schools and young people as well as how to access their services. You will also gain an understanding of how to support diverse communities.

There is no cost to any school for this session.

Cancellation Fee
If you have booked a place and are unable to attend or need to cancel your place, please cancel via your Leeds for Learning account at least 48 hours in advance of the event so that we can release your place to delegates on the waiting list. The event is free but we reserve the right to impose a charge of £25 where delegates do not attend and have not informed us of their cancellation.
