All things drugs, sex and sexual health - an informal session with Forward Leeds.
An informal session by Lewis Edwards at Forward Leeds, aimed at supporting school staff to have positive conversations with young people around all things drugs, sex and sexual health. Lewis will also share lots of examples of guidance for young people and workers, recommend resources and games, and offer further free training and support for workers, teams and young people.

The session will cover:
- Content and stats around young people and drugs and alcohol.
- What young people could look out for in terms of substances and sexual wellbeing and staying healthy and looking after each other.
- How young people can protect themselves, assess situations and respond to risk.
- How staff can have conversations with young people and respond to conversations about sex, drugs and alcohol.
- Where staff can get advice if they are unsure how to respond.

Be informed on how to have conversations with young people, and respond, about sex, drugs and alcohol.

There is no cost for any Leeds secondary school/post 16 setting to attend this bitesize session.
To join this session, you will first need to register via the Teams link provided from Leeds for Learning once you’ve completed the checkout process.
Cancellation Fee
If you have booked a place and are unable to attend or need to cancel your place, please cancel via your Leeds for Learning account at least 48 hours in advance of the event so that we can release your place to delegates on the waiting list. The event is free but we reserve the right to impose a charge of £25 where delegates do not attend and have not informed us of their cancellation.
