This online briefing will provide a clear summary of the updated DfE RSHE Statutory Guidance (July 2025). You'll gain clarity on what's new, what's changed, and the support available through the Health & Wellbeing Services and partners to help you respond confidently and effectively.

The RSHE guidance has been updated to reflect the lives children and young people live today.
This session will break down the key content changes in the guidance. You'll also learn about the tools, training and resources available to support your curriculum planning, staff confidence, and delivery. With a full year to implement the changes, this session will help you to get ahead.
Outcome
By the end of the session, you will:
- Understand the main changes in the DfE RSHE statutory guidance (July 2025),
- Know which topics must be introduced or updated within the PSHE curriculum,
- Be aware of the support, CPD, tools and resources available to meet these changes.

There is no cost to any Leeds school for this session.
To join this session, you will first need to register via the Teams link provided from Leeds for Learning once you’ve completed the checkout process.
Cancellation Fee
If you have booked a place and are unable to attend or need to cancel your place, please cancel via your Leeds for Learning account at least 48 hours in advance of the event so that we can release your place to delegates on the waiting list. The event is free but we reserve the right to impose a charge of £25 where delegates do not attend and have not informed us of their cancellation.
