Promoting gender equity in your setting, using a whole-school approach

In this session, we will look at the impact of gender stereotypes on children and young people’s mental health, career aspirations, and overall wellbeing.

Details

Gender Action employ a research-driven approach to illustrate how broader social issues intersect with gender inequity, drawing on an intersectional and feminist ethos. They draw on specific examples from the whole-school approach and support you in reflecting on your setting, helping you to begin thinking about how to create an action plan for change.

Outcome

You will have a greater understanding of the development and impact of gender inequity. You will feel confident to create an action plan to embed a whole-school approach in your setting.
