Enhancing Personal Development, evidencing good practice.

This training is for primary and secondary PSHE, Healthy Schools and Personal Development leads and will support you to embed an effective whole school approach, ensuring positive health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people.

This session will support you in developing, mapping, and evidencing high-quality provision in Personal Development.

You will explore the newly updated Healthy Schools framework, share best practices and gain insights from recent Ofsted inspections.

Please note that drinks/refreshments, including lunch are not provided at this session. Delegates are however, welcome to bring their own lunch and refreshments. (Hot and cold water will be available).

Outcome

Delegates will:

• Gain a greater understanding of the new Ofsted framework, in relation to Personal Development.
• Explore Character Education, British Values & Protected Characteristics, and SMSC and their role in supporting Personal Development.
• Learn how to evaluate pupil health and wellbeing using tools such as the newly updated School Health Check and the My Health, My School survey.
• Discover effective strategies for documenting and evidencing your Personal Development programme.
• Gain insights from schools’ experiences during recent inspections.
• Identify actionable next steps to enhance Personal Development in your school setting.

Cost: £275 per delegate.

Schools with a current Health & Wellbeing SLA may be entitled to pre-paid places subject to sufficient available training credits. The full 'pay as you go' price will be applied if you have insufficient training credits.

Cancellations: If you cancel your booking we require at least 5 working days notice. Failure to provide such notice or non attendance will result in your school being charged in full if using ‘pay as you go’. Leeds schools with a full or basic SLA package who do not inform us within 5 working days will incur an administration charge of £30/delegate
