Climate Action Plan

DfE outlined, in its sustainability and climate change strategy for education (Updated 20 December 2023), its expectation (non-statutory guidance) for all schools to have a Sustainability Lead and a Climate Action Plan in place by 2025.  A Climate Action Plan (CAP) can sit within an individual setting, across a trust, or both, and provides a set of key questions under the 4 ABCD headings of Adaptation, Biodiversity, Climate Education and Decarbonisation.
