Want to know more about how to assess learning in PSHE?

Delegates will gain a clear understanding of assessing, recording and evaluation in PSHE and develop practical approaches to implementation. Delegates will also be updated on the latest developments in PSHE.

Details

This course will explore the importance of assessment and the different approaches you can take. You will learn how to use a range of assessment and evaluation strategies to inform your curriculum planning and adapt teaching to meet your pupils’ needs.

  • Please note that drinks/refreshments are not provided at this session. Delegates are, however, welcome to bring their own drink/snack. (Hot and cold water will be available).

Outcome

  • Enable participants to develop an understanding of the range and type of assessment that can take place in PSHE,
  • Identify opportunities for assessment in PSHE planning,
  • Explore strategies for pupil self-assessment in PSHE,
  • Learn how to use assessment and evaluation to adapt teaching to best meet the needs of their pupils.

Schools with a current Health & Wellbeing SLA may be entitled to pre-paid places subject to sufficient available training credits.
