The Health and Wellbeing service is part of Leeds City Council's Childrens and Families directorate. We are an advisory and support service working with schools and settings, empowering children and young people to effectively manage their lives and their wellbeing enabling them to become future, responsible custodians of a healthy and sustainable world. We work with the ‘readiness to learn’ agenda to improve attainment through providing advisory support, high quality professional development and bespoke school support including PSHE and RSHE classroom delivery sessions.

From April 2026, schools will be able to access a refreshed and simplified Health & Wellbeing Services SLA. The updated offer has been designed to give schools greater clarity, better value for money, and more predictable budgeting.

Three clear package options

The new SLA is built around three straightforward packages, allowing schools to choose the level of support that best matches their needs:

Bronze – £695

Silver – £995

Gold – £1,295

This tiered structure makes it easier for schools to compare what’s included and select the most suitable option.

These Service Level Agreements are available for schools in Leeds which are subsidised by Public Health to keep the cost low for schools.

We also provide all our training, support and resources on a pay as you go basis.
