Virtual: School Food Leadership Forum
These forums will be a chance for school leaders to come together and share concerns, ideas and successes around nutrition, school meals and the impact of the pandemic on children’s eating habits.
Key information, local and national DfE updates on free school meals and food in school will also be shared and at this event. We will also discuss food poverty and strategies for ensuring hunger is removed as a barrier to learning.
Next steps for school meals will be considered, including the potential transition from classroom lunches served in grab-bags back to meals on plates in dining rooms.
The forums will take place at 3.30pm on Monday 26th April and 11:30am on Wednesday 28th April - please only book to attend one forum.
