Suitable for all teachers who need to teach RSE in secondary or post 16 settings.

It is compulsory for all schools to fully meet the statutory requirements of the Relationships Education & Health Education curriculum. The course aims to provide you with the vital skills and knowledge you will need to be able to deliver high quality and effective RSE. This course will support you in ensuring you are implementing the statutory changes in this field and increase your confidence in teaching Relationships and Sex Education lessons.

This full day face to face course is aimed at leaders, teachers and support staff in secondary school settings, helping to increase your confidence in approaches to teaching Relationships and Sex Education.

The course is delivered by a qualified teacher and a specialist learning mentor who regularly delivers RSE and PSHE sessions in schools and settings; between them they have lots of first hand knowledge of teaching RSE, enabling them to share best practice with you. They also have lots of experience of the kinds of questions students may ask enabling them to support you in knowing how to respond with confidence.

Cost: £250 per delegate. Health & Wellbeing Service Level Agreement (SLA) credit value = 2 credits.

Schools with a current Health & Wellbeing SLA may be entitled to pre-paid places subject to sufficient available training credits. The full 'pay as you go' price will be applied if you have insufficient training credits.
