Workshop session 1: (choose from either)

  • Recognising and understanding different forms of child sexual exploitation (CSE):

  • Sexual violence in schools: sexual harrassment, the law and how PolEd lessons featuring learning in relation to sexual harrassment :

Workshop session 2: (choose from either)

  • Building a School Environment Inclusive of LGBTQ+ Identities and Diverse Families

(Josh Booth: Children’s Service Manager, Positive Identities Service – Barnardo’s);

  • Prevent: an overview of the Far Right

(Julia Holden: Prevent Education Officer, Leeds City Council).

All live workshops are suitable for all phases in all settings.

A selection of pre-recorded sessions on hot topics to support PSHE and RSHE delivery will also be available on the day for you to watch at a time to suit you.

With the exception of the LGBTQ+ and Prevent workshop sessions will be recorded and will be available to delegates for 12months after the event.  

Outcome

All sessions are designed to provide updated knowledge and practical tips to take back to school.

This session is not part of the SLA.

Cost per delegate:
£25 for schools with any HWS SLA or website subscription.
£75 for schools with no HWS SLA.
