Promoting and supporting good social, emotional and mental health practices in school.

This full day face to face training session is designed for SEMH and PSHE leads from primary and secondary schools and SILC settings. This training will support delegates to develop a greater understanding of a whole school approach to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) practices.

Details

This training course will explore a range of SEMH practices and resources, in order to support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people.

  • Please note that drinks/refreshments, including lunch are not provided at this session. Delegates are however, welcome to bring their own lunch and refreshments. (Hot and cold water will be available).

Outcome

  • Greater knowledge of strategies and resources supporting SEMH.
  • Benefit from, and contribute to, sharing good SEMH practice.
  • Understand how pupil voice and participation can support and influence SEMH practices in school.
  • Awareness of how the MindMate Champions programme can support your work in school.
  • Opportunities for you to explore next steps for your school.

Venue: Public Health Resource Centre training room, Technorth, 9 Harrogate Rd, Chapel Allerton, Leeds, LS7 3NB.

Cost: £275 per delegate.

Schools with a current Health & Wellbeing SLA may be entitled to pre-paid places subject to sufficient available training credits.

The full 'pay as you go' price will be applied if you have insufficient training credits.

Cancellations: If you cancel your booking we require at least 5 working days notice. Failure to provide such notice or non attendance will result in your school being charged in full if using ‘pay as you go’. Leeds schools with a full or basic SLA package who do not inform us within 5 working days will incur an administration charge of £30/delegate
