New Bushcraft area available to all schools for training and development.

West Leeds Activity Centre are offering expertise to deliver half day and full day training around Bushcraft linked to National Curriculum subjects; Science, Maths, Food Tech, English, Geography and History.

During the session participants, will be shown basic skills in foraging, fire lighting, shelter building, cooking, knife skills, tree and foliage identification. Led by an experienced staff team you will have the opportunity to create lesson plans linked to the subject areas, as well as developing your own survival skills.

Resources are available to take away including a free ‘goodie’ bag to enable you to get started in your own setting.

Cost? £75pp half day / £150pp full day. Minimum group size 4 people.
