Jessie & Friends Release

A new  resource for 4-7 year olds from the CEOP Education Team, Jessie & Friends, will be released March 2019. Children will see the adventures of Jessie and her friends when they explore the online world; watching videos, sharing pictures and playing games. The three animations aim to help children to develop key skills to help make these experiences as safe as possible.

A comprehensive resource pack for professionals which has received the PSHE Association Quality Assurance Mark will be available as part of this package, as well as information and advice for parents and carers. More information on Jessie & Friends will be announced via their social media channels (@CEOPUK  and ClickCEOP) in advance of the launch and via an email update on the day of launch.

The introduction of Jessie & Friends will coincide with the retirement of Hector’s World and all the associated lesson plans and activities, which will no longer be available to use from March 2019.

Lee & Kim will however still be available and they will be releasing an updated version of the resource pack in March to ensure it is in line with the current primary national curriculum and addresses the ways in which this age group are currently using technology and accessing the internet. They will also be making some changes to the current 5-7’s website during this time.

We are keen to share tools and resources as best we can, to support children’s wellbeing and education over this period of uncertainty. With this in mind, we have produced a range of advice and free resources for schools, as well as resources for parents/carers in your school.

These resources are updated every week so please check them on a regular basis.
